About Kagel Environmental, LLC

Ray spent 12 years as a federal wetlands regulator with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (including 9 years as Senior Regulatory Project Manager in the Idaho Falls field office).  His experience from working across the country in three different Corps of Engineer Districts (Philadelphia, Omaha, Walla Walla) provides us with the “insider” knowledge and contacts that allow us to achieve the most favorable outcomes legally possible with wetlands and permitting issues.  In addition, Ray’s wide-ranging background in wildlife and fisheries management (including a Masters Degree in Wildlife & Fisheries Biology) enables KE, LLC to provide thorough, credible Environmental Impact Assessments and Natural Resource Inventories that result in approval of our client’s projects by local Planning and Zoning commissions.  Ray is a former Corps of Engineers instructor in wetland identification and delineation, and he has provided expert testimony in several federal court trials that have directly led to successful outcomes for our clients.
